‘Evacuation’ alert ringing at dawn. 
Emergency text message alerting about balloons presumed to be coming from North Korea in the middle of the night.

"I can't live with anxiety!"  

Residents along the border are complaining of anxiety, saying they fear it could be a war. The channels of dialogue between South and North Korea have been completely cut off, and the inter-Korean military agreement, which used to serve as a safety pin, is no longer in force, leading to mutually provocative demonstrations and psychological warfare.

The ROK government has not asked South Korean civilian organizations to restrict the distribution of anti-North Korea leaflets Korea or cracked down on them, which has contributed to the current crisis, but has instead taken hardline measures such as resuming loudspeaker broadcasts to North Korea and resuming military exercises near the Demilitarized Zone. 

Both South and North Korea must stop the hostile rhetoric and actions that threaten each other. 
  
This coming July 27 marks the 71st anniversary of the signing of the Korean War Armistice. Every year around this time, we are reminded of the war that never ended.  

Let's talk peace and act together to create a path to peace again! Join the Korea Peace Action Day on July 27th. Please send your photo to amplify the voices for peace on the Korean Peninsula!

• Take a photo holding the sign. You can go to the landmark near you with your friends to take a photo!

Step 2 : Upload your photo to our photo collection page or send the photo to the campaign via endthekoreanwarnow@gmail.com

• Upload 📸Your Photo / Name (or alias) / Email (optional) / Message of peace 
• Once uploaded, it is difficult to edit, so please check the content before uploading.🙂

Step 3: Post on Facebook, Instagram or any social media platform of your choice with the following caption.

4. Step 5: Get your friends, colleagues and family to do the same!

The first deadline of photos will be submitted by July 23rd(Tue), and will be made into a video clip of the Korea Peace Action Day on July 27th. By August 12, the final deadline of photos will be shared with the media and used in online and offline advertisements 🙂 We look forward to your participation!
